Oppo has had a dull 2023 with only two not so anticipated launches so far. The brand has launched Oppo A78 5G (Rs. 20,000 segment) and Oppo Reno 8T (Rs. 30,000 segment- review here) smartphones, both devices not receiving a very thunderous response. Looks like Oppo has now decided to elevate things a notch ahead as it has confirmed the global as well as the India launch of its new Oppo Find N2 Flip clamshell-like folding device on February 15.

The Find N2 Flip was launched alongside Find N2 in China at the Oppo Inno Day in December 2022 and if the posters for the upcoming launch are to be considered, then the global/Indian variant will be similar to the China model.

Oppo Find N2 Flip: Expected India Price

The new Find N2 Flip will compete against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 which costs Rs. 82,999 in the country. Oppo Find N2 Flip launched at a starting price of around Rs. 71,000 in China, so Oppo’s Flip phone might cost somewhere between 70,000 to 75,000 in India as well.

Oppo Find N2 Flip: Specs

The posters for the upcoming launch show the Flip phone in 2 colorways- Pink and Black. It has a wide cover screen in a vertical orientation which will help the users to view notifications or preview photos without unfolding the smartphone.

Since the model will be similar to the China variant, it might sport a 6.8-inch primary (unfolded) FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display will be a 3.62-inch 60Hz panel.

It will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset with ARM Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. It will have up to 512GB IFS 3.1 storage on board. There will be a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. When unfolded, there will be a 32MP selfie lens as well. Oppo is also using Hasselblad cameras on the Find N2 Flip.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip will pack a 4300mAh battery under the hood with 44W SuperVOOC charging and the connectivity options will include 5G, Bluetooth, WiFi, and more. This will be Oppo’s first folding phone in India and a lot will depend on its price point. Since Samsung has already established a market for its foldables in the country, any price around the same lines as Samsung might make it difficult for Oppo to attract consumers.
