Close on the heels of K1, an affordable phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor and AMOLED display, Oppo has announced another phone for India – the F11 pro. According to an official press statement, the new F-series phone will employ a 48MP camera and highlights a new Super Night Mode.

So, as you’ve already read, OPPO would also board the 48MP bandwagon. Like the recent craze of the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7, this could also boast an ultra mega resolution smartphone with pixel binning support. This means the final output could be 12MP shots.

The phone could carry Samsung ISOCELL GM1 or Sony IMX586 sensor and as the post highlights they could produce “Brilliant portraits in low light”. Oppo also says that there will be a Super Night Mode that will be powered by an AI Engine, Ultra Clear Engine, Falcon Heavy engine and what not. The point being, just like the night modes on Honor and Vivo phones, it will be able to unnaturally brighten shots clicked in dark and negate hand vibrations without requiring you to mount it on a tripod.
There is no update on the secondary sensor, however, it could be a depth sensor. And, yes, an LED flash is visible in the teaser as well. As for the front, the rumors suggest a 32 MP selfie shooter.

Other hardware specs could include a high-end MediaTek SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage, supposedly expandable. Yes, this could be a power-packed device and we expect it to be unwrapped on the beginning of March.
As per a recent report, Realme has surpassed OPPO to take the 4th largest Indian smartphone brand. Let’s see if the oncoming devices could gain enough traction to turn the table.
