Oppo is getting ready for the launch of two new handsets in India. The company will launch Oppo A54 on April 19 while it will take the veil off the Oppo A74 5G on April 20.
Interestingly, Oppo has made the Oppo A54 page live on Flipkart with a small battery tease while the Oppo A74 5G variant is teased on Amazon. But since the two phones have been already launched in different global markets, we know a fair bit about them.
Oppo A54 Specs (Global Variant)
The Oppo A54 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It runs on Android 10 topped with Color OS 7.2. The phone draws power from a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Oppo A54 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a selfie camera of 16MP resolution. At the back, the phone boasts triple cameras including a 13MP main camera, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The A54 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well. We are expecting the arrival of Oppo A54 with a similar set of specs.
Oppo A74 5G Specs (Global Variant)
The global Oppo A74 5G comes equipped with the modest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G-supported processor. It offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The phone gets a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is packed with a 5000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging. The phone runs on Color OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
For imaging, the Indian version of A74 is said to feature a 48MP triple camera setup including two 2MP assisting sensors. Meanwhile, the global model gets quad rear cameras. The punch-hole houses an 8MP front camera.
Oppo A54 and Oppo A74 5G Prices
The Oppo A54 is priced in Indonesia at IDR 2,695,000 (around Rs. 13,780) and is expected to be tagged below Rs 12,000 in India. As for the A74, OPPO has set the price at THB 8,999 (around Rs. 21,400) in Thailand which could ship to India below Rs 20,000.
