Recent leaks have revealed that upcoming IoT gadgets such as the OnePlus Pad 2 and the OnePlus Watch 3 from both OnePlus and OPPO brands are set to be released this year but with some delay. Preliminary speculations pointed towards the release of these gadgets in the second half of 2024, however, the likelihood of these devices’ further delay causes major technology baiters to speculate for new information.
OnePlus Pad 2 and the OnePlus Watch 3
This delay we learned from sources like Digital Chat Station and confirmed by X/Twitter tipster Max Jambor was unexpected in the tech community mainly because of excitement arising from potential imminent release of the oppo pad 3 in China. As for why the launch has been delayed, the details are unclear but the following theories have been assumed Some pinned the possible delay to supply chain issues while others believed that the delay may be due to a strategic adjustment of OnePlus and OPPO.

This delay has come at a cost as OnePlus did not only miss out on new products such as the OnePlus Pad 2 and OnePlus Watch 3 but even new colour options for the OnePlus Buds 3 and the high-end Enco X3 earphones. This setback, particularly for the OnePlus Pad 2, has arrived at a particularly poor time, as customers expect updates and new developments.
Expected to resemble the OPPO Pad 3, the OnePlus Pad 2 may deliver improved features such as the Qualcomm Snadragon 8 Gen 3 for the Vijoy Pad 2 and an up-and-coming 12. 1-inch LCD display with a high refresh rate. However, no specific schedule has been given for the arrival of these products that have been stretched into what can only be seen as an uncertain future, with fans diligently waiting for updates.
Nevertheless, some other players are still to enter the market, for example, Samsung is already trying to step forward with its products. For anyone willing to purchase an Android tablet, there is equal expectation from the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series to be launched in July as there can be disappointment to hear from OnePlus and OPPO delayed their models.
