Earlier this year, Smartprix gave you an exclusive first look at both the early prototype and final design of the OnePlus Open. Now, a recent report from WinFuture has shared official renders that closely match the ones we shared previously. Adding to the excitement, this new report claims to reveal the expected US price of the OnePlus Open. With the company’s India launch on the horizon, recent revelations regarding its expected price, design, and camera features have served to further intensify the excitement and anticipation surrounding the OnePlus Open.

OnePlus Open price in India

The OnePlus Open, dubbed as the flagship killer, is rumored to be competitively priced for the US market, with expectations of being sold for under $1,700 (approximately Rs 1,41,341.40). However, an earlier tipster claim by Yogesh Brar hinted at an even lower price for the Indian market, falling below Rs 1,20,000.

If the latter pricing information proves true, it could make OnePlus Open a compelling choice for potential buyers, especially in price-sensitive markets like India. In comparison, it appears to stand as a fierce competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, given the narrow price difference.

While OnePlus fans in Europe have reason to celebrate, there’s a minor hiccup on the horizon. Reports suggest that the device might skip the German market due to a copyright infringement case involving Nokia. Nevertheless, this minor setback doesn’t seem to dampen the enthusiasm surrounding OnePlus Open.

OnePlus Open Display and Performance: What to Expect

The OnePlus Open is expected to impress users with its display capabilities. When unfolded, it could feature a 7.82-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2440×2268 and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device’s cover display could stretch 6.31 inches, with similar AMOLED characteristics, offering a resolution of 2484×1116 and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it’s anticipated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU clocked at 3.36GHz and an Adreno 740 GPU. The device is rumored to run on Color OS 13.1, which is based on Android 13.

OnePlus Open Memory, Storage and Battery for All-Day Use: What to Expect

OnePlus Open could be a memory powerhouse, with expectations of up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. OnePlus is expected to offer it with 256GB and 512GB storage variants, catering to users’ storage needs.

For uninterrupted usage, the smartphone is believed to house a 4805mAh battery, complemented by a rapid 100W charging support, ensuring that it’s ready to roll whenever you are.

OnePlus Open Camera Capabilities: Expect Hasselblad Partnership

One of the most intriguing aspects of the OnePlus Open is its camera setup. The leaked information indicates a rear camera configuration comprising a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP 3x telephoto zoom lens. For selfie enthusiasts, it’s expected to feature 32MP and 20MP front lenses. However, what’s truly exciting is the OnePlus-Hasselblad partnership, hinting at custom filters and tuning inspired by the renowned Swedish camera brand.

As the OnePlus Open’s launch date in India draws nearer, tech enthusiasts and smartphone aficionados are eagerly anticipating its official reveal. With its competitive pricing, top-notch features, and Hasselblad collaboration, the OnePlus Open might just be the next must-have smartphone in the Indian market.
