OnePlus is all set to launch OnePlus Open on October 19. It officially announced the first look of the folding-style phone along with the much fan-favorite three-stage Alert Slider on the top-left corner. But if you don’t wish to wait, you can preorder the OnePlus Open at £99/€99 to get a rather appealing £250/€250 discount on the final price once the foldable phone arrives.

OnePlus Open, the next-gen device from the Chinese maker, will officially launch in Mumbai on October 19 at 7:30 pm IST or 10:00 am EDT. Those who pre-order the device will get the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (priced at €180) free of cost. The offer remains the same for the US and Canada too. There’s also OnePlus’ ongoing email campaign participating in which, you get a credit of $50/CAD$50. No doubt the deals are spicy and irresistible.

At the time of writing, we aren’t aware of what the OnePlus Open brings to the table including the price which could be around the $1,800 ballpark of $1,800 given its rivals. It does have a foldable style display much like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5.

YouTuber Unbox Therapy took an interview with OnePlus CEO Pete Lau where we got our eyes on the first look on the device. Its rear camera setup, consisting of a ginormous circular camera island, was covered during the exclusive look although we do know how it looks thanks to previous leaks including Indian Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma holding the phone revealing the camera bump.

The OnePlus Open is comparatively lightweight as it uses 31 fewer components than the Oppo Find N2 which helps it reduce both the size and weight. By the looks of it, you will see two perfectly calibrated devices stacked on top of them with no almost no bezels on the screen giving it a fulfilling and wholesome user experience.
