TL; DR
  • The Nord 6’s retail box confirms a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, a massive 9,000 mAh battery, and 80W wired charging support.
  • The phone features a 6.78-inch 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony OIS camera, and a 32MP autofocus selfie shooter.
  • Nord 6 will launch in Black, Mint, and Silver, in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both paired with 256GB storage.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is gearing up to refresh one of its most popular lineups in India — the Nord series. Last year, the Nord 5 garnered a lot of praise for being an all-rounder with decent performance and battery life. However, this year, OnePlus is improving the spec sheet even further.

OnePlus Nord 6’s Retail Box Images Reveal Key Specs

Renowned tipster Yogesh Brar has shared a picture of the Nord 6’s retail box, which follows a bright teal or blue theme this year. On the top is the smartphone’s moniker — OnePlus Nord 6 — with the number ‘6’ etched in a holographic finish at the bottom left.

The left side of the box contains important details that align with the rumored specifications of the smartphone. First, the box says that the phone runs on a Snapdragon 8 series chip, and the phone is indeed rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a jump from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Nord 5 (review).

Second, the box mentions the 9,000 mAh battery, making the Nord 6 the largest battery smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer (a title previously held by the OnePlus 15R). Although the charging speed isn’t mentioned, we believe the phone could support up to 80W wired charging, which would take around an hour (or slightly over) to fully recharge the battery.

The box also mentions the 165Hz 1.5K “Sunburst” AMOLED screen, which could be a reference to its high peak brightness. The screen’s size, per the recent rumors, is 6.78 inches, which puts the phone in the big-screen category.

Finally, the box also confirms that the phone will feature a 50MP primary sensor from Sony, with optical image stabilization, and a 32MP selfie sensor with autofocus.

OnePlus Nord 6: Memory Variants, Release Date, & Price

While these were the details mentioned on the box, the Nord 6 could come in two memory and storage variants: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. Furthermore, you can choose from three color options: Black, Mint, and Silver.

Brar also claims that the phone could launch in the first week of April, with April 7, 2026, being the most likely date. With such specifications, however, we could also see an increase in the retail price. If I were to speculate, the phone’s base variant could start from around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 38,000.
