OnePlus is expected to announce its next generation of upper mid-range phones in China later this year. Previous leaks suggested the OnePlus Ace 5 and the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will be the company’s most powerful phones yet. A new leak by prolific leaker Digital Chat Station reiterates some of those details while shedding light on more core specifications.

According to the leak, the Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ace 5 Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both phones are said to sport 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO OLED flat displays with very thin bezels on all four sides, a first for OnePlus’s premium flagships.
DCS also mentions that the phones will feature 50MP triple cameras without periscope lenses. They will also come with ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensors and massive 6,000mAh batteries, which seems to be the norm for Oppo/OnePlus flagships in 2025.
The tipster further adds that the OnePlus Ace 5 lineup may offer right-angled metal middle frames. An earlier leak suggested the Pro variant may come with a glass-ceramic body with chamfered edges.
