OnePlus 8 series is expected somewhere around next month. And so far, we have seen several CAD renders and concept images of the phones. Well, a fresh image shows one of the phones, precisely OnePlus 8 Pro out in the world.

The snaps shared by 247Techie present a grey-colored OnePlus phone, apparently OnePlus 8 Pro. The device decks up a punch-hole front and a glossy finish by the back. There is a quad-camera setup, with three sensors within an oblong while the last one sits outside.

Starting off with the camera, the incumbents of the bump are said to be a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 20MP ultrawide snapper, and a 12MP telephoto unit. The outsider is probably a ToF 3D depth sensor.

As for the front, the hole-punch display is speculated to be a 120Hz AMOLED panel stretching about 6.7 inches with 3140 x 1440 pixel resolution. Following the predecessor, this one too will house an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Internally, you could anticipate the latest slice of Snapdragon silicon, ie, SD865 with ample memory choices (up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage) and Android 10 based OxygenOS software on top. The phone, and for that matter, all the OnePlus models will sport 5G.

OnePlus is now a member of Wireless Power Consortium

A big change this year is expected to be support for water resistance and wireless charging. There are even rumors of 30W reverse wireless charging and 50W fast charging bolstering a 4500mAh battery. But as they say, nothing is factual until announced officially. OnePlus 8 series is said to launch in the month of April. Now, considering the ongoing crisis, let’s see how OnePlus pulls that off.
