TL; DR
  • While the Ola S1 Pro Sport will get exterior changes, it is also believed to be the first Indian two-wheeler to feature ADAS technology.
  • In addition to ADAS, the electric scooter should also get an integrated dashcam in the front for recording rides.
  • The upcoming Ola S1 Pro Sport will use a locally manufactured 13kW electric motor paired with a 5.2kWh battery pack, with a claimed range (IDC tested) of up to 320 kilometers on a single charge.

After receiving mixed reactions with the Ola S1 Pro, the EV manufacturer is now working on a new, feature-rich variant of the electric scooter: the Ola S1 Pro Sport. First and foremost, the Ola S1 Pro Sport will sport a distinct design, featuring street aesthetics, such as vertical racing stripes, split grab rails, refreshed rear-view mirrors, a new seat cover, and new body decals. All the design elements aim to give the scooter a sportier and more expressive visual appeal, which targets enthusiasts looking for something fresh.

Ola S1 Pro: ADAS Integration

While the Ola S1 Pro Sport will get exterior changes, it is also believed to be the first Indian two-wheeler to feature ADAS technology.

For those catching up, ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and it refers to the features that enhance the driving experience by adding a layer of automated safety features, such as emergency braking, collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, etc.
