Carl Pei’s Nothing has confirmed that they are launching their first smartphone for 2025 on March 4. Now ahead of the launch, teasers for Nothing Phone (3a) have been teased on social media wherein one can spot an iPhone-like Action Button.

According to the teaser image, Nothing’s official handle shows a Phone (3a) with an iPhone-like Action Button on the side. While it isn’t clear, the new button could be used to launch the camera and take photos, which is suggested by the teaser’s caption “Your second memory, one click away.” The tagline is also accompanied by a scan of a smartphone from the side, showing what appears to be two buttons. The button might also be used to launch AI Assistant. The button is shaped like a volume rocker, so combining it with the tagline, Phone (3a) might be adopting some sort of dedicated camera button.

In a separate post on X.com, Nothing even showcased the glyph interface of its upcoming device while giving a peek into the camera design. Phone (3a) is expected to be the company’s first release with a telephoto lens for better optical zoom, which confirms Nothing is pushing towards a stronger camera performance.

In terms of camera, Nothing Phone (3a) is likely to get a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide angle lens at the back. At the front might be a 32MP selfie sensor. Under the hood, Phone (3a) is said to pack a 5000mAh powerhouse with 45W wired fast charging speed. The device will retail in India via Flipkart.

To recall, Nothing Phone (2a) was launched in India in March 2024 and was priced at Rs. 23,999 for the base model. Nothing Phone (2a) Plus was launched in July 2024 for Rs. 24,999. This year, Carl Pei’s company might also have Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Plus or Pro together tomorrow.
