After the success of Nothing Phone (1) in the global market, Carl Pei is all indulged in creating hype for Nothing Phone (2). Nothing founder Pei announced it at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 that the smartphone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon series 8 processor. As of now, he has not revealed if the processor with be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Speculations are that the upcoming prodigy by Nothing will ship with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in order to be available in the market at affordable prices. In a previous statement, Carl Pei also said that the upcoming device would be more premium as compared to the Nothing Phone (1). The inclusion of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 clearly denotes that the Nothing Phone (2) is going to be a flagship smartphone.

The smartphone will compete directly with devices like OnePlus 11R, iQOO 9T 5G, OnePlus 10T 5G, Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and a lot more. Most of the mentioned phones ship with top-notch specifications and features like 120Hz refresh rate, AMOLED display, high-quality front camera, decent design, and a lot more. Keeping all that in mind, we can expect that the Nothing Phone (2) will also get features that will be able to outclass other alternatives available in the market.

Nothing Phone (2) expect specifications

The Nothing Phone (2) will ship with an AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said that the handset will include 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Rumors also have it that the device will draw power from a 5000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging speed. However, speculations are that the smartphone will get better charging capacity as other alternatives even offer up to 100W charging capacity. Currently, only a limited amount of information is available on the Internet regarding the smartphone. Anticipations are that we will get to know more as soon as the launch inches closer.
