Nothing Phone 1 was a major success in both the Indian as well as global market. Now, the Nothing Phone 2 has been making the headlines for a long time. In a recent development, the specifications and features of the Nothing Phone 2 have leaked online, and we have a fair idea of what we can get to see in the highly anticipated device.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei previously revealed that the smartphone would ship with the Snapdragon 8 series processor. He pretty much didn’t reveal anything else. A report by MySmartPrice has mentioned that the handset will ship with a processor codenamed Taro. It is also in the air that the Nothing Phone 2 has appeared on the BIS certification website. Without any further ado, we will discuss the specifications and features of the smartphone below.

Nothing Phone 2 leaked specifications and features

The Nothing Phone 2 could run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that will have a clock speed of 3.0GHz. The processor will include three performance cores with 2.5GHz clock speed and four efficiency cores at 1.8GHz clock speed. This looks like a decent upgrade over the Nothing Phone 1, which ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ 5G processor. Reports related to the smartphone suggest that it scores 1253 in the single-core tests and 3833 in the multi-core test of Geekbench.

The smartphone will get a 12GB RAM variant which has been mentioned on Geekbench. At the time of launch, we can also get to see an 8GB RAM variant coupled with 128 GB internal storage. It will operate on the Nothing OS 1.5 based on the Android 13 operating system. The handset will also have an improved Glyph interface as compared to its predecessor. It will draw power from a 5000mAh battery that will support fast charging. There is no confirmation regarding the pricing and the launch of the smartphone. However, speculations are that it will be launched in India via Flipkart.
