Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Galaxy Z Flip 5 tipped to launch on July 26: Galaxy S23 Lime Green variant now available in India

Samsung launched its Galaxy S23 Series in the 1st Unpacked Event it held in 2023. Now, for a while, there have been rumors about the brand hosting Part 2 of its Unpacked Event soon. This unpacked event will see the next generation of foldables, Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Galaxy Watch 6, and new earbuds.

While Samsung mostly hosts the 2nd unpacked event in August, this time the event is tipped to happen on July 26. The event will see Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 being launched.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Part 2

As per a report by Chosun Media, Samsung is all set to hold the Galaxy Unpacked Event to announce the next generation of foldables on July 26. This date is 2 weeks earlier than Samsung’s usual announcement time frame for foldables. This unpacked event is expected to take place in Seoul, South Korea.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 might go on sale from August 11, 2023. Samsung’s semiconductor sales have been poor and to boost its revenue for Q3, Samsung is launching foldables earlier than usual.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Z Flip 5: what to expect

The brand is expected to bring a major change to the structural design of both the foldables. They will use a new waterdrop-shaped hinge that will make the screen crease less visible and allow the foldables to fold without any gap. Both the foldables will have an IPX7 rating and be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipsets.

Samsung Galaxy S23: New color variant

Samsung Galaxy S23 is now available in a new ‘Lime Green’ colorway in India. Earlier it was available in Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender colors. It is available in 2 storage options- 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB for Rs. 74,999 and Rs. 79,999 respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and features a quad camera setup at the back. It includes a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, and a 3x Optical zoom lens.
