After months of rumors and speculations, Nothing has finally confirmed the Phone (2a). Earlier this evening, the company sent over promotional emails to existing customers, informing them about the arrival of the Phone (2a). Further, the company’s Indian website also mentions the moniker, stating that the device is “coming soon.”

Phone (2a) Will Come As A Mid-Range Smartphone

Like the Pixel A series, the Phone (2a) will be a mid-range smartphone. The company mentions that the handset will focus on optimal daily smartphone experience, addressing the core user needs and a mix of Nothing’s user interface. Speculations suggest that the smartphone will provide a better experience than the Phone (1) in 2022.

Expected Launch Date And Price

Even though the company hasn’t released a launch date for the smartphone, there’s a good chance that the Phone (2a) will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We believe the phone will cost around Rs. 35,000 to 40,000 in India. However, that remains a conjecture as the company hasn’t confirmed this detail.

Phone (2a) Leaked Specifications

Regarding specifications, the smartphone could come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, run on the Dimesity 7200 SoC, and feature two 50MP sensors for clicking regular and ultrawide images. Looking at the specifications, the Phone (2a) looks like a successor to the Phone (1).
