HMD Global’s Nokia X6 – scheduled to launch today in China – has been leaked in live images. And it seems like another brand has succumbed to the notch trend as the renders show Nokia X6 with 19:9 screen aspect ratio and iPhone X-like notch.
The images are believed to be straight from the sets of Nokia X6 launch event. So, we could be seeing the final product very soon. Sit tight!
Nokia X6 Features
The leaks are in line with whatever else we have seen so far. Apart from its notch display, the phone’s rear has a familiar design to the recently announced Nokia 7 Plus. The images showed the Nokia X6 with vertically-aligned dual-rear cameras, fingerprint sensor, Nokia branding, and bold color accent. Interestingly, it has a glass finish or glass back to differentiate itself.
The fascia of the Nokia X6 has a rumored 5.8-inch Full HD+ display and a narrow chin at the bottom containing Nokia branding.
As for the specifications, the Nokia X6 is expected to come in two chipset variants — Snapdragon 636 SoC and MediaTek P60. The SoC will be backed by two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage. The handset will run on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
For those interested in optics, Nokia X6 is said to feature a duo of 12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens on the rear. Other information such as the front camera sensor, battery capacity, sensors and connectivity options are not known as of now.
Nokia X6 Price
The Nokia X6 is going to be another mid-range phone from HMD Global that will sit somewhere between the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 Plus. It is rumored to cost CNY 1599 (roughly Rs. 16,800) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY 1799 yuan (roughly Rs. 19,000) for the 6GB RAM option.
