After featuring in numerous leaks and rumors, HMD Global’s new mid-range phone, the Nokia X6, went official at a launch event in China. The handset is unlike any other phone and includes features like the trendy notched display, glass-sandwiched design, and dual-rear camera setup.

Nokia X6 Features
The Nokia X6 falls in between the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 Plus. It features a 5.8-inch Full HD+ (2160X1080 pixel) display with 19:9 screen aspect ratio and a visibly thin bezel at the bottom. Not to mention, the phone also sports a notch on top, which houses the front camera and proximity sensor.
Under the hood, the Nokia X6 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage variants. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB via hybrid microSD card.

The Nokia X6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with no custom UI layered out of the box and packs a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. On the photography front, the Nokia X6 sports a combination of 16MP (RGB) sensor and 5MP (Monochrome) sensor on the rear and a 16-megapixel shooter on the front. The cameras also include features such as AI portrait, stickers and facial recognition.
Some other features of the handset include a fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
Nokia X6 Price and Availability
The Nokia X6 retails in China at 1299 yuan (roughly Rs. 13,830) for its 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and 1499 yuan (roughly Rs. 15,830) for its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model. The top-end 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage version of Nokia X6 costs 1699 yuan (roughly Rs. 18,090). It will be available in Blue, Black, and Silver color options. There is no word as to when the Nokia X6 will be launched in India right now.
