Nokia 6 Running On Android 7.0 Nougat Goes Official

HMD Global has finally presented its first and dearly awaited Android based Nokia Phone – The Nokia 6. Ever Since HMD Global bought the license to sell an market Nokia branded smartphones, the brand has constantly managed to grab headlines. However, Nokia 6 will be a China Exclusive and brand loyalists across the globe will have to wait a bit longer to be able to lay hands on it.

The company also posted a video on its official website showcasing Nokia 6 features and design. It flaunts a metallic unibody with chamfered edges. It packs a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display. The phone is secured by a fingerprint sensor on the front. It comes with dual speaker placed on both top and bottom further assisted by smart dual amplifier chips and Dolby Atmos.

In terms of specification, the Nokia 6 employs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset combined with Adreno 505GPU and 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. We would have loved a faster chip on Nokia’s comeback device, especially with FHD resolution on board, but hey, let’s not draw conclusions so soon.

The dual SIM phone comes with a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, 1.0um sensor, f/2.0 aperture. For selfie enthusiasts, it bears an 8MP front-facing camera with 1.12um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 84˚ wide-angle lens.

In China, the phone will be available in only Black color and exclusively retail at JD.com. To buy Nokia 6 in China you will have to shell out 1699 yuan (US$ 245 / Rs. 16,740 approx.)
