A Flipkart microsite has confirmed the launch date of the Motorola Edge 70 in India. Here’s everything we know about the handset, including its launch date, specifications, and expected price.

Motorola Edge 70 Launch Date (Confirmed)

Motorola Edge 70 launch date confirmed

As mentioned on its Flipkart microsite, the Motorola Edge 70 will launch in India on December 15, 2025, at 12 PM IST. And yes, it will be available online exclusively through the platform. The phone’s pricing should surface in the coming days, likely 1 or 2 days before the launch.

Motorola will ship the Edge 70 in three colors: Pantone Lily Pad, Pantone Gadget Gray, and Pantone Bronze Green.

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications (Confirmed)

Among other specifications of the smartphone (revealed by the microsite), the 5.99mm thickness and 159 grams weight are the main points of attraction. Given that the phone is expected to arrive here as a mid-range device, we expect it to be the thinnest and lightest in the segment.

And unlike other thin phones (even the flagship ones), the Motorola Edge 70 seems to have a balanced set of specifications. For instance, the handset has a 6.7-inch 1.5L 120Hz pOLED screen that supports a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is quite capable for the mid-range (though not the best). The chipset should be paired with 256GB of storage on the smartphone, to the best of our understanding.

Motorola Edge 70 launch date confirmed

Regarding optics, the phone could feature two 50MP cameras on the back, with another 50MP selfie unit on the front. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery, which is the only compromise at the price the phone is expected to arrive, but that is a function of the phone’s fragile form factor.

Anyway, the battery supports 68W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. Additional features of the phone include Android 16-based Hello UI (3 OS + 4 years of security updates), IP68 + IP69 ratings, and a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability rating.

Motorola Edge 70 Price (Speculation)

According to recent rumors, the Edge 70 could cost around Rs. 35,000 in India, at least for the entry-level variant. Whether this variant will feature 256GB of storage or Motorola will up its game and offer 512GB of storage as a major point of attraction for customers is something we’ll learn over time.
