Motorola Edge 20, Edge 20 Fusion Launched in India with fast refresh screens and 108-megapixel cameras

Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion have officially touched Indian shores today. The Motorola Edge 20 now has the honor of the first Snapdragon 778 G-based smartphone in the country. While the Moto 20 Fusion is driven by a MediaTek 800U SoC. Both smartphones include a 108MP rear camera, 32MP selfie shooter, IP52 rating, and high refresh rates display.

This is not the first time we get to learn about the Moto Edge 20 series. Motorola announced both Edge 20 series phones at a global event back on July 30. Here’s everything you need to know about the Moto Edge 20 series:  

Motorola Edge 20 Features

The Motorola Edge 20 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a hole punch, 144Hz refresh rate, and support to HDR10+ and DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. It packs a 4000mAh battery with a 30W TurboPower charger.

The Edge 20 has triplet rear cameras comprising a massive 108MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor with macro vision, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The punch-hole includes a 32MP selfie camera. It supports 30x superzoom and 3x optical zoom.

Motorola Edge 20 Fusion 

The Edge 20 Fusion comes with a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color space, and HDR10 support. It has the same front camera as the standard model of the series. On the other hand, the rear camera also gets a 108MP main camera with a lower 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth camera.

The Edge 20 Fusion is tossed with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor accompanied with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone manages to get a bigger 5000mAh battery supporting 30W TurboPower fast charge.

Both the devices run on Android 11 and are rated with IP52 standard. Connectivity options include dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C port.

Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion Prices & Availability

Motorola has set the price of standard Edge 20 at INR 29,999. While the Edge 20 Fusion is priced at INR 21,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant and the 8GB + 128GB model will cost INR 22,999. The phones will retail through Flipkart bundled with no-cost EMI offers on HDFC and ICICI bank cards. The sale date of Edge 20 is August 24 and Edge 20 Fusion is August 27.
