Motorola is all set to launch its next generation of foldables very soon. The Motorola Razr 50 Series has been in the works for a while now and a few days ago it was confirmed that the lineup will be announced in China on June 25. However, in a recent development, Motorola has now confirmed that the Moto Razr 50 Series will not only launch in China on 25th June but globally as well. This means the brand will announce the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra foldables side-by-side in China as well as globally.
The Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra are successors to the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra that were launched in 2023. The Moto Razr 40 Series was announced in China earlier but it came to India with its global debut. This time too Motorola might announce Razr 50 flip phones for India as well on June 25.

Moto Razr 50 Series
Motorola has shared a teaser video of the Razr 50 Series that mentions the global launch date to be June 25th. The video shows flip phones in blue and orange colors. The teaser also hints that the smartphones might come in as many as seven hues this time.
Moto Razr 50: Expected Features
The Moto Razr 50 is expected to sport a 6.9-inch FHD+ OLED main display along with a larger 3.6-inch cover display and 120Hz refresh rate for both. The flip phone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset with a minimum of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery is said to be downgraded to 3900mAh from 4200mAh on Razr 40.
In terms of camera, the flip smartphone is said to feature a 50MP man and a 13MP secondary sensor at the back. At the front might be a 32MP selfie snapper.

Moto Razr 50 Ultra: Expected specs
The ultra variant of the Razr 50 Series is said to arrive with a 6.9-inch FHD+ OLED main screen and a 3.6-inch cover screen with 120Hz refresh rates. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is speculated to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with at least 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of camera, the flip phone is expected to pack two 50MP cameras and a 13MP sensor at the back. The Razr 50 Ultra will have a clamshell-like design and draw juice from a 4000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging speed.

Moto Razr 50 Series: Pricing
The Moto Razr 50 Series is rumored to be priced along similar lines as the Razr 40 Series. The exact price will be announced on June 25.
