Motorola has recently introduced some of the best smartphones in the last few months, including the high-end ones like Moto Edge 30 and Moto Edge 30 Plus. Now, the company is prepping up to launch a new phone which will be subbed as the Moto G72.

In a report published by Pricebaba, Onleaks has leaked the first few images of the upcoming smartphone by Moto. The images suggest that the device will get an in-display fingerprint scanner. This most probably means that we can see OLED or AMOLED type display in the handset.

Not only this, but the smartphone will be available in four colour options, including Silver, Blue, Grey, and Black. At the back, the smartphone will have a rectangular-shaped camera island consisting of three sensors and a flash. The device recently made its visit to the FCC’s certification website, which reveals its model number XT2255. Internally, it is being called Victoria22 and could hit the market by October first half.

Moto G72 expected specifications

The Moto G72 may get a screen size of around 6.5-inch AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is no word on the processor that is being used in the device. We would like to not make a comment on the same.

Apart from that, we can get to see RAM options like 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, along with 128GB internal storage and 256GB internal storage. The high-end storage variant was missing in the case of Moto G71, and now its successor will have that even. The device will work on the Android 12 operating system and will be upgradable to Android 13 OS.

In terms of optics, the smartphone could get a triple rear camera system comprising a 108MP primary shooter, 8MP ultrawide angle shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, the device may rock a 16MP snapper for the sake of selfies and video calls. The handset will draw power from a 5000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support.
