Moto G6 Plus India Launch Scheduled For September 10

After teasing Moto G6 Plus with a coming soon tag for more than a month, Motorola has finally revealed the launch date as September 10. The company first introduced this mid-range smartphone in Brazil, in the month of April 2018.

Motorola tweeted a GIF with a caption that read – “The new #motog6plus is set to arrive on 10th September and is built to give you more with every feature!”

The tweet further talked about ‘smart dual rear cameras’, ‘low light photography’, 6GB RAM, and a lot other features of the phone.

Moto G6 Plus Features

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and run stock Android 8.0 Oreo software. The phone is driven by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 chipset, with Adreno 508 GPU assistance, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage assistance. Optically, the smartphone might feature a dual rear camera setup of 12MP primary sensor having a 78-degree lens and f/1.7 aperture, beside a secondary camera of 5MP, having a 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture, along with dual-tone, dual-lens LED flashlight. For the front, the G6 Plus employs an 8MP camera bearing 80-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture, along with a selfie flash.

The internal memory is expandable via microSD card, up to 128 GB. Connectivity features on Moto G6 Plus include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, beside the usual set of sensors. The phone will draw power from a 3,200mAh battery, with support from Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor, which the company claims, will deliver 7 hours of usage with 15 minutes charging. Moto G6 Plus measures 159.9×75.5×7.99mm, and weighs 165 grams.

Moto G6 Plus Price

For now, there is no detail available regarding Moto G6 Plus price in India. Motorola had initially launched this smartphone in Brazil for EUR 299, that would approximate to INR 24,350, and isn’t expected to vary much in India.

The device was launched in Indigo and Gold colour options.
