Microsoft announced its first Xbox Wireless Headset

Microsoft is expanding its headphones business and has announced to launch its first such gadget dubbed Xbox Wireless Headset. The US-based giant has confirmed to release the gaming-centric headset on March 16 in major Xbox markets around the globe.

Xbox Wireless Headset Price & Availability

Microsoft has priced Xbox Wireless Headset at $99.99 (~₹7,276.52) in the US market and the gaming accessory is available for pre-order on the country’s official website. The Indian Xbox fans have to wait a little longer till October 5, 2021. Microsoft has dedicated a page for the upcoming headset on India’s site with the mention of this arrival date.

Xbox Wireless Headset Features

The Xbox Wireless Headset touts a comfortable and intuitive design featuring ultra-soft ear cups, lightweight body, and customizable fit. You can change the volume and balance the game-chat by just rotating the earcup dials. The mic is adjustable and can be tucked up when not in use. The headphone weighs 312g.

The upcoming Microsoft headset features 40mm speakers with an impedance of 32 ohms to deliver high-quality audio with a low-latency. The Xbox headset ships with the support of Spatial Sound technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS headphone. The dual microphone and voice isolation integration reduces the background noise to a convenient level. In addition, the mic auto-mutes itself when you are not talking.

The battery of the Xbox Wireless Headset lasts for up to 15 hours after a full recharge in 3 hours. And it can give you up to 4 hours battery life in just 30 minutes recharge. In case you’re wondering, it has a USB Type-C port.

Xbox Wireless Headset is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox X/S, Windows 10 PCs, and mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.2. The headset can be paired with an Xbox device and a mobile phone simultaneously enabling you to take calls while gaming. Also, it allows you to adjust equalizer settings, bass boost, auto-mute, LED brightness, and mic monitoring.
