ROG Xbox Ally & Ally X: Features

Both handheld gaming PCs feature a 7-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate; however, there is a distinction. The Xbox Ally version is designed for 720p gaming, while the Ally X console is intended for 900p to 1080p gaming. They can boot directly into a new Xbox full-screen mode, and the system restricts background tasks to enhance gaming performance. This will assist players in maintaining their focus on the game.

These Xbox consoles are equipped with AMD Ryzen chipsets, with the X version showcasing the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Chip, while the Xbox Ally utilizes the Ryzen Z2 A. The ROG Xbox Ally is provided with 16GB of 6400 LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage, whereas the Ally X boasts 24GB of LPDDR5X 8000 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
