This has a base clock speed of 1.7 GHz, turbo maxed up to 3.6 GHz. Besides this under-the-hood change, nothing much has been changed. Let’s jump into the new Price, Specs, and details.
Microsoft Surface Book 2
The new Surace Book 2 sports a 13.5-inch PixelSense Display with up to 3240 x 2160 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and 10 point multi-touch. On the surface, it flaunts a slim and sleek design with all the regular connectivity options.
As mentioned, the processing power is from Intel 8th-gen quad-core i5 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, turbo maxed up to 3.6 GHz. It packs 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The graphics would be helmed by Intel HD Graphics 620 integrated GPU along with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete GPU w/2GB GDDR5 graphics memory.
There is an existing dual-core 7th Gen model available at a price of $1,299. With both the models, you would be getting Windows 10 Pro Creators Update 64-bit with a 30-day trial of MS Office 365, out of the box.
With the revamped Surface Book 2 model, you could expect a boost in performance. Down the line, Microsoft’s Surface event would be held on April 17th in New York City. We could expect more info on the upcoming Surface Hub 2 and other things in the pipeline.
