Microsoft is focused on changing the way of computing with the help of AI, and the first example of the same was the Binge revamp. Now, the company will allow any developer with an Amazon Appstore Developer account to make submissions for an app from Windows 11 distribution. In addition to that, Windows 11 users will also get a considerable surge in Android apps they will be able to download on the mentioned operating system.

Previous data suggest that the app store had only 50 compatible Android applications at the time it was available to the public. However, later in time, the number skyrocketed up to 20,000 applications. Talking about the current scenario, Amazon Appstore has more than 50,000 Android applications in its arsenal.

A major highlight in this episode is that this 50,000 applications will not be immediately available for usage. The developers are supposed to submit the applications for the purpose of testing before they make an official debut on the App Store. To process the same in a quicker way, Microsoft has decided to offer guides on the creation of applications compatible with Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA).

These guides will work primarily on Windows resizing and native mapping to oblige different form factors. As of now, the Amazon app store is present in 31 countries across nine markets. This consists of the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, Germany, Spain, Australia, France, Italy, and the United States. Not only this, but Microsoft has also said that Microsoft Store users will start getting AI-generated review summaries that will comprise customer reviews and highlight topline details.
