Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has today expanded its Canvas Unite series with the launch of Canvas Unite 4 Plus. The newly launched smartphone is more or less an improved version of original Canvas Unite 4 which hit offline stores in June. The Canvas Unite 4 Plus will be available for Rs. 7,999.

The new variant of Micromax Canvas Unite comes with a metal body and has a home button embedded with a fingerprint sensor. It sports a 5-inch IPS HD display, 1.1GHz MediaTek quad-core chipset, 3Gigs of DDR3 RAM. In terms of media storage, it comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The Canvas unite 4 Plus features an 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It runs on Indus Os 2.0 which comes with TTS (text–to-speech) support for 12 Indic languages Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colors across all major brick and motor stores in India.
