The south Korean conglomerate LG has unwrapped its X power 2 smartphone just days ahead of the MWC 2017 event. The USP of the successor of the X-Power is its beefier 4500mAh battery that takes one hour to go from zero to fifty percent while it takes another hour it go from 50 to 100 percent (And that’s not all that fast, though).

The LG X power 2 sports a 5.5-inch In-cell Touch Display with 720×1280 pixels HD resolution while its predecessor came with a 5.3-inch display with similar resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is an option to expand storage up to 2TB via microSD card.

In optics section, the LG X power 2 bears a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with soft-light LED flash.The selfie camera comes with face detection mode, gesture shot and gesture interval shot mode. The smartphone boots on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It has a dedicated Comfort View mode that cuts down blue light for comfortable viewing.

The LG X power 2 goes on sale first in next month in the Latin America after which it will be launched in United States, Asia, Europe and other regions. Pricing of the phone will vary depending on the market. It will be made available in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, and Shiny Blue colour options.
