LG Electronics unveiled its lightweight laptop series- The LG Gram in three new sizes. The Gram 17, Gram 15, and Gram 14 laptops come with Windows 10 Home OS. Out of the three, the 17-inch model has won the world’s lightest laptop title from Guinness World Records in February 2019.
So, they are literally light. But, what all they carry within? Let’s find out.
LG Gram 17 highlights
The LG Gram 17 has a 17-inch WQXVGA (2560×1600 pixels) IPS sRGB display that sports a 16:10 aspect ratio. It ships with an 8th gen Intel Core i7 processor, aided with Intel UHD graphics, up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
All of these and still the LG’s Gram 17 weighs around 1,340 grams. A 72Whr battery keeps the laptop alive for about 19.5 hours on a single full charge.

It comes certified for durability under US military MIL-STD-810G standard. It bags a laundry list of ports such as USB Type-C (v3.1) port, 3x USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI port, HP/ Mic Out combo, a microSD card slot, and dual-mic. You also get a fingerprint reader, a backlit keyboard, Precision Glass Touchpad, and DTS Headphone X audio support.
LG Gram 15 highlights
The laptop sports a 15.6-inch display and weighs less than the above one around 1,099 grams bagging a battery life of around 21.5 hours. It runs on the 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor, roomed with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 256 GB of SSD.
LG Gram 14 price in India, features
Finally, we have a 14-inch Gram that carries an 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor, a battery backup of approx. 21.5 hours, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD. It weighs about 995 grams.
Speaking at the launch, Younchul Park, Director-Home Entertainment, LG Electronics India said, “We have tried to evolve LG gram in accordance with consumer needs – super-light laptops that pair performance with optimum portability. The new laptops promise to deliver what customers want, need and do with its strong performance, durability and battery life.”

Pricing and Availability
- The LG Gram 17 laptop (model number 17Z990-V) is priced in India at Rs. 1,26,000
- The LG Gram 15 (model number 15Z990-V), carries a price tag of Rs. 98,000
- And the LG Gram 14 (model number 14Z990-V) will cost you Rs. 95,000
- All the three models will be on sale via Amazon India from next week onwards.
