After the merger of Motorola and Lenovo, the first phone comprising ‘Moto by Lenovo’ branding is out and it is none other than the next iteration of Motorola’s most successful Moto G franchise. Lenovo has launched its new Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India, Moto G Plus comes in two variants which are priced at Rs. 13,499 and 14,999 respectively. Pricing and avialablity of Moto G is yet to be announced. Both variants of Moto G Plus will be exclusively available on Amazon India from today midnight onwards.
These successors of Moto G3 comes with a new design philosophy which is the first thing you’ll notice. The Moto G4 and G4 Plus both are ergonomically designed and fit exceedingly well in hands. Moto has ditched all plastic design for polycarbonate matte finish back and a metal running through the sides. There is symmetrical camera setup placed at the rear. The Plus variant of Moto G 4 comes with a square shaped fingerprint reader just beneath the display. For navigation Moto has preferred to go with the on-screen buttons.

On the specification front, the Moto G 4 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels). Under the hood, it features an octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage (storage expansion option available). It sports a 16-megapixel primary camera coupled with LED flash and Phase-detection autofocus (PDAF). On the front, it features a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which supports fast charging.
Similarly, The Moto G4 more or less features the same specification barring fingerprint sensor and 2GB of RAM instead of 3GB RAM in the Plus variant. The fourth generation Moto G or the Moto G 2016 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617. It too comes with 5.5-inch display and 32GB internal storage along with a media expansion slot. Moto G4 sports a 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera.
