Lenovo Zuk Z1 with 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 launched In India At Rs. 13,499

Lenovo India has finally introduced its Z1 smartphone which comes under the umbrella of sub-brand Zuk. The smartphone will be an online-exclusive as announced at the virtual launch event which was streamed live on YouTube. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has priced Lenovo Zuk Z1 in India at Rs. 13,499. The First sale will be held on May 19, 2016 on Amazon India. Registration for the first sale is currently underway.

The Zuk Z1 is the first smartphone Lenovo portfolio which is running on Cyanogen 12.1.OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The crowd-sourced smartphone (as claimed by the company) comes with a wide number customization option.

The Makers try to present the phone as the flagship phone for budget consumers by housing a yesteryear top-of-the-line SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. The Octa-core chipset is clocked at 2.5GHz and accompanied by Adreno 330GPU, a 3gigs of RAM and 64GB ROM with no expansion slot. Another prominent feature of the Z1 is it comes fitted with a large 4100mAh battery along with a new USB Type-C port. The dual SIM smartphone features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The smartphone hails a 13-megapixel primary snapper with a Sony IMX214 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), a feature come in the high-end smartphones. It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The Lenovo Z1 supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS and Glonass as the connectivity options.
