The Lenovo K5 Note is here. The new Note comes with a unibody metal design and company pitches it directly against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 , LeEco Le 2 and Meizu M3 Note. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of Vibe K5 Note are priced at 11,999 INR and 13,499 INR respectively. The handset is going to retail exclusively on Flipkart starting August 3, 2016 (open sale). If you buy it on the launch day, you will also get the VR bundle for 999 INR and the Gaming Pad bundle for 1,999 INR.

The Phone boasts of a 5.5-inch full HD display with 401 ppi pixel density and 72.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. Display is furthered strengthened by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, it is powered by big.LITTLE MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset with the high-performance cluster ticking at 1.8GHz . To mitigate gaming concerns Lenovo has employed Mali-T860MP2 GPU for all the graphics heavy lifting. The 3GB/4GB of RAM should comes handy in multi-tasking and allow Lenovo K5 Note to run a number of apps in the background. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB.

The Lenovo K5 Note comes running on Andriod 6.0 Marshmallow with Pure UI customizations. Just like Coolpad and Xiaomi, Lenovo added a dual-space feature for its customers (“The secure zone”). The K5 Note users will be able to use two WhatsApp, Facebook and other similar apps on their single device.

In the optics section, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note come studded with a 13-megapixel primary camera which has f/2.2 aperture and phase detection autofocus. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor finds a spot at the rear surface.
Besides the new K5 Note, Lenovo also revamped the existing Vibe K5 Plus. The new Vibe K5 Plus will have 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and the new Pure UI. The price remains unchanged. You can grab it from Amazon for 8,499 INR.

It can store 5 fingerprints and the fingerprint sensor is very fast and accurate
Gorilla Glass 3 is not there and yes it has LED flash (no dual-tone). We will have the phone with us within next couple of days and will be better equipped to answer other queries then.
