Lenovo laptops have always been known for their good hardware, build quality and reliable battery life. Now, expanding its IdeaPad series, Lenovo has launched IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro in India. Following the marquee trait of the Lenovo IdeaPad series, the IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro also comes in a slim form factor.
IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro resembles its predecessor in aesthetics thus it has a minimalist design and no prominent branding on its lid. The lid has a small Lenovo logo in the bottom right corner. It comes in two screen sizes- first with 14-inch 2.2K IPS anti-glare display that is bright at 300 nits and the other comes in 16-inch WQXGA IPS anti-glare display and 350nits brightness. Additionally, both displays offer 100% sRGB coverage and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro Specs
It features a high-resolution display along with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor or AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU. The CPU is paired with integrated Intel Iris Xe or AMD Radeon depending on the processor you opt for. Lenovo also offers dedicated Nvidia GeForce graphics, including an RTX 3050, RTX 3050Ti, and GTX 1650. It is upgradable to Windows 11 too.

The 14-inch model packs a 56.5Whr battery, which Lenovo claims can deliver up to 15 hours of nonstop video playback while the 75Whr battery on the 16-inch model is said to have a playback of up to 16 hours. There’s a difference between the weight and thickness of the models too as 14-inch IdeaPad weighs 1.38 kg with a thickness of 17.9mm while 16-inch one weighs 1.9kg with a thickness of 18.4 mm. The body of both the notebooks is made of aluminum with an anodized surface treatment. Both their microphones also offer Amazon Alexa and Microsoft Cortana support too.
The notebook features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 720p webcam with facial recognition. Along with having a Dolby Atmos speaker system, the two user-facing speakers and the Dolby Access app allow the users to adjust the sound profiles to their taste and create an immersive sound experience featuring moving 3D audio.
The laptop comes with an enlarged touchpad and functional arrow keys that are specifically engineered for tactile control, keying accuracy, improved ergonomics with optional backlighting. Other highlights include a DDR4 RAM of up to 16GB and an SSD of up to 1TB.

The device comes with a wide range of connectivity options too. They include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, and other ports. The device also comes with Time-Of-Flight (ToF) and Infrared (IR) sensor to allow facial recognition using Windows Hello. Lenovo has integrated its unique zero-touch login function, which allows users to sign in instantly and start using the laptop by just flipping up its lid.
IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro Price and Availability
The IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro is priced at Rs. 77, 990 for base variant in India. It will be available in a single Storm Grey color option and is currently available to order at Lenovo.com, Flipkart, Amazon as well as physical retail outlets across the country.
