LeEco Unwraps Made For India Phone Le 1s Eco , Priced At Rs. 10,899

As we reported earlier, Chinese Internet Conglomerate LeEco has launched its first smartphone tailor made for India – the Le 1s (Eco) priced at Rs. 10,899. The phone will come bundled with a one year free LeEco membership, as announced by Atul Jain, CEO LeEco India. As a introductory price, Le 1S Eco will be available for Rs. 9,999 during the first sale which will be held on Flipkart on May 12 at 2PM. Their will be 100,000 units of Le 1S Eco available for the first sale.

The Le 1s (Eco) is more or less same as original Le 1s. The phone boasts off same innards and exterior outfits. Only major difference between the two smartphones is later comes pre-loaded with LeEco membership which includes video-on-demand, LiveTV, Music Streaming and Le Drive.

The Le 1s (Eco) houses a 5.5-inch FullHD in-cell display with 403 ppi pixel density. At the heart of it features a MediaTek Helio X10 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of ROM. The phone bears a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
The Le 1S (Eco) will come “integrated with a content ecosystem, which includes Le Vidi of more than 2,000 movie titles and Live of over 100 TV channels and LeEco Music of 2.5 million tracks. Thanks to LeEco’s successful Ecosystem mode, Le 1s Eco, with 10 local languages, has become the first brand in India that integrates a localised entertainment center in India,” the company said in a statement.

They have reduced the clockspeed to 1.8GHz, probably to address the heating issue, but it is still too soon to know for sure.
