The joint venture, formed by SAIC, MG Motor India’s parent company, and JSW Group in late 2023, revealed plans not only for the introduction of plug-in hybrids but also for the launch of a new model every three to four months, commencing in September 2024.

Alongside outlining its forthcoming initiatives, MG unveiled the Cyberster EV, a sleek two-door performance vehicle, adding a futuristic dimension to its lineup. A key announcement from MG was its commitment to roll out a new model every three to four months, beginning September 2024. These vehicles will be produced in India with a strong emphasis on localisation, aimed at offering competitive pricing in the market.
In addition, MG has reinforced its commitment to advancing cleaner mobility. The company revealed plans to introduce plug-in hybrid vehicles in the future.
