Update 10/23/2017: All new Jio tariff plans are now officially listed on the Jio website. Apart from the Plans mentioned earlier, Jio has also added a Rs. 399 plan that entitles users to 1GB 4G data/ day for 70 days. Also, moving forward, Jio will now levy a deposit fee on its Postpaid subscribers.
Continuing with its trimester trend, Jio has announced the new set of Tariff plans under Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. The new plans will be applicable starting October 19 for all existing and new customers. Both local and STD voice calling, access to Jio Apps, and National roaming shall remain free for all Jio users irrespective of the plan they subscribe to.
New Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer Plans (Valid from October 19)
Jio services used to be completely free and with each tariff revision, the company is gradually increasing the cost, gently encouraging its consumers to spend more. The 3 months unlimited plan with 1GB Data per day FUP that was earlier available for Rs. 309 and then for Rs. 399 will now cost Rs. 459.
The basic RS. 149 plan that earlier offered 2GB of 4G LTE data through its 28 days validity shall now offer double the amount, i.e. 4GB data.
The Rs. 509 Plan for heavy users will still entitle you to 2GB of high-speed data per day but its validity has been reduced from 56 t0 49 days.

Jio has also added a set new unlimited plans (without any per day FUP limit):
- 999 plan gives 60GB data for 3 months
- 1,999 plan gives 125GB data for 6 months
- 4,999 plan gives 350GB data for 12 months
Jio has also presented a few affordable weekly packs for its users:
All subscribers for affordable weekly packs will be entitled to 0.15GB of 4G LTE data per day post which the speed will be throttled to 128kpbs. Local and STD Voice calling, roaming and SMS will be free.

- 98 for two weeks
Yup, Jio services once again get a tad more expensive with these plans but it would be grossly unfair to complain. Jio is still accredited with the much-needed data revolution in India and its plans are still quite aggressively priced compared to the competition.
