In a surprising move, iQOO India’s CEO shared the launch of an upcoming iQOO series in August. This will be the iQOO Z9s series, and as the name suggests, there will be two or more iQOO Z9s smartphones in the series.
In the poster, you can see that there are four transparent sheets of glasses and the one at the front showcases the iQOO Z9s’ camera layout. The camera layout has three lenses arranged vertically with a ring flash to the side. The transparent sheets of glass are curved, hinting at a curved display.
While it’s not yet confirmed, rumor is that the iQOO Z9s could be a slightly altered version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo that launched in China earlier this quarter. Note that the Z9 Turbo doesn’t have a curved display, rather it has a flat display.

One of the models of the iQOO Z9s series could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z9 in China. The iQOO Z9 (from China) is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The Z9 Turbo, on the other hand, has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Nonetheless, these are merely speculations and nothing has been confirmed yet. If this is an all-new series (no rebranding or tweaking), then you can also expect a phone in the series with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset.

Rumor is that the iQOO Z9s phone with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ could sport the Sony IMX 921 main camera and a 50 MP selfie camera with AF. This phone could also come with IP68 dust and water resistance. What are your speculations? Let us know in the comments section below.
