iQOO Z1x with Snapdragon 765G chipset, 120Hz display to launch on July 9

The iQOO Z1X is all set to debut on July 9 in China, the company announced in a Weibo post. iQOO also officially confirmed Snapdragon 765G chipset under its hood. The Z1x follows Z1, which was the world’s first-ever MediaTek Dimentsity 1000+ based phone that debuted back in May.

iQOO Z1x will also include 5G support for both SA and NSA connectivity. It will be fitted with 8GB RAM and could include up to 256GB storage as some rumors suggest. iQOO has also confirmed a mammoth 5,000mAh non-removable battery with 33W fast-charging support.

The company has also confirmed a presence of a 120Hz display. The screen will have a punch-hole cutout close to the top right corner. The TENAA listing for the device revealed that it will be a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ LCD screen. This is further corroborated by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as shown in the renders.

The poster posted by the company also reveals a back panel featuring a minimal design and a rectangular triple camera system. As for the optics, there is a 48MP primary camera, coupled with two 2MP snappers on the rear, and a 16MP selfie camera.

The iQOO Z1x will be offered in white, blue, and black hues. While the details related to pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, It’s expected to be priced around 2,000 yuan in China.
