iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition debuts in China with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition has made its debut in the Chinese market. The smartphone is an upgraded version of the recently launched iQOO Neo 7 SE. While iQOO relied on MediaTek Dimensity processors for iQOO Neo 7 and iQOO Neo 7 SE but this time, the brand switched to Qualcomm chipsets for the racing edition.

As of now, there is no information regarding the launch of the smartphone in the Indian market. However, we can expect the device to reach the Indian market in the first quarter of 2023. Apart from that, iQOO is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, iQOO 11, in the Indian market on January 10.

iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition’s 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage is priced at CNY 2,800 which converts to Rs 33,000. The 12GB RAM variant with 256GB internal storage is available for CNY 3,000 which is Rs 35,730. The smartphone also has a 16GB RAM variant that ships with 256GB and 512GB internal storage.

iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition specifications

iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone offers a 360Hz touch sampling rate and HDR0+ certification support. The smartphone works on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It operates on the OriginOS Ocean based on the Android 13 operating system.

When it comes to the camera, the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition flaunts a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. The handset draws power from a 5000 mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support. As claimed by the company, the smartphone can get charged from zero to 50 percent in 9 minutes. For security purposes, the device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI Face Unlock feature.
