December 2nd, that’s the date when iQOO was expected to launch its iQOO 11 series in China. However, due to the sudden demise of Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese President, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has pushed the launch to December 8 and the launch event won’t be held in China.

iQOO Reschedules iQOO 11 Series Launch

According to the update coming from iQOO, it has pushed the launch for the iQOO 11 series from December 2nd to December 8th in Indonesia. Instead of China, the launch took place in Indonesia at 4 pm location time (2:30 pm IST).

The launch was pushed after former Chinese President Jiang Zemin expired. The launch event will see the iQOO 11 series along with iQOO Neo 7 SE.

iQOO 11 Series and Neo 7 SE Specifications

Talking about the specifications, the iQOO 11 5G is expected to bring onboard a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. It will be paired with up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage while the RAM variants onboard are up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

Moving on, we have heard rumors that the phone will bring onboard an E6 AMOLED display from Samsung with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. There’s also news around its camera rig consisting of a 16MP front, and 50MP rear primary flanked with a 13MP ultrawide and 12MP telephoto snapper.

According to a news publication, the phone might get a whopping 200W fast charging tech although that remains to be seen. The phone will have a BMW M Motorsport edition as well but again, things aren’t clear yet.

Talking about iQOO Neo 7 SE specifications, the device is highly likely to bring Dimensity 8200 SoC under the hood. There’s a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging tech although this bit is confirmed by iQOO itself. Some leaks showed iQOO Neo 7 SE with a 120Hz AMOLED panel as well although we will have to wait for more updates on the same.
