iQOO 11 & Xiaomi 13 launch events postponed: New dates announcement soon

The launch events of 2 major tech brands- Xiaomi and iQOO have been postponed. Xiaomi was supposed to launch the Xiaomi 13 series today while iQOO was about to launch the iQOO 11 Series and Neo 7 SE smartphones tomorrow. However, in the latest development, both launch events have been postponed. Both brands have issued statements promising that the new launch dates will be announced soon.

Though neither of the brands has mentioned why the events have been postponed, but speculations are rife that the sudden death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin can be the reason behind the sudden decision. Jiang Zemin was the Chinese communist party leader and was the head who helped the nation acquire its position as a global superpower. He passed away at the age of 96.

However, since both Xiaomi and iQOO have decided to launch their next flagships in 2022, new launch dates are expected to be known soon. iQOO was also supposed to launch the Neo 7 in Malaysia on the 2nd of December, but that will be postponed as well now.
