The full range of Intel 10th generation desktop processors have been unveiled officially. Just like the 10th gen laptops. The desktop lineup is promoted under Comet Lake-S banner featuring Core i9, i7, i5, and i3
processors.

Intel Core i9-10900K, which offers 10 cores, 20 threads, a 125W TDP, boosted speeds up to 5.3GHz, is leading the charts for Intel. New Thermal Velocity Boost will allow it to run under 70 ºC mark in performance mode.

The flagship processor can deliver 10 percent more frames per second in PUBG as compared to the Core-i9 9900K. It is claimed to be 63-percent more powerful than the i7 7700K from 2017. Intel claims it will be 18 percent faster in 4K video rendering.

The 10th gen Intel Core-i7 range lead by the 10700KF which on the specs-wise have a similar configuration to the 9900K featuring 8-cores and 16-thread. However, with improvements, the 10700KF could hit 5.1GHz clock-speed. Since it’s an unlocked processor, user can overclock 10700KF.

The Core i5 series line-up topped by 10600KF featuring 6-cores, 12-thread design with 4.1GHz base and 4.8GHz boost clock speeds. It supports Intel’s proprietary Turbo Boost Max 3.0 and Thermal Velocity Boost technologies. On paper, the i510600KF seems to be for a mid-tier gaming rig.

Intel’s lineup of 10th-generations Comet Lake desktop processors includes a total of 32 models. These processors will only support motherboards with LGA-1200 socket. The core series processors also include intel’s integrated UHD Graphics 630, up to 2.5gigabit ethernet and Wi-Fi 6.
