Huawei, the Consumer Business Group, launched three new variants of their next generation smartwatch in India, aka Huawei Watch 2, which was spotted at the Mobile World Congress, earlier this year. The variants include Sports, Classic and Sports 4G.
While the first two come with Bluetooth connectivity, the latter – Sports 4G – has 4G LTE support and can function as an independent watch. That is to say, you won’t have to carry your phone in your pocket while you sprint.

Huawei Watch 2 Specifications
All three variants of Huawei Watch 2 are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and operates on the Android Wear 2.0 OS. The smartwatch is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and is loaded with applications that support and enhances the smart living experience.
The Huawei Watch 2 is also a high specification fitness device that uses multiple sensors and smart algorithms to track user’s fitness activity including distance, speed, steps, heart rate, heart rate range, calories, gait, route and more, and then respond with possible solutions.
Huawei Watch 2 Sports 4G Variant Features
The Huawei Sports 4G comes with a 4G VoLTE support, a built-in GPS Chip, and a dual-mic noise elimination feature for a better call servicing.
The use of network connectivity, instead of Bluetooth, helps the user to do long-distance connectivity with their phone. That means that even if they are away from the smartphone they can send the text message, respond to calls, independent apps like Uber, Foursquare, and Facebook Messenger, using the watch.
Apart from 4g support, the Huawei Watch 2 also comes with a GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, which significantly strengthens connectivity between your smartphone and the watch.

Huawei Watch 2 India Price and Availability
As of now, all three Huawei Watch 2 variants comes in a chronograph design and is currently available in black color. The company has priced the watch here at Rs. 20,999, Rs 25,999 and Rs 29,999 for Sports, Classic, and Sports with 4G connectivity, respectively.
Apart from, Huawei Watch 2 Sports with Bluetooth connectivity, which will remain Amazon exclusive, the Huawei Watch 2 will be available on Amazon and via offline channels from September 13 onwards.
