Huawei will launch its latest set of camera-centric P30-series flagship phones – the P30 Pro and P30 Lite – in India as early as next week. There is no official confirmation regarding the Huawei P30 Pro launch day in India, but more details are expected to emerge soon.

The Huawei P30 Pro comes with an innovative triple camera system and was recently presented globally in Paris.

Huawei P30 Pro Features

The star highlight of the Huawei P30 Pro is its quad camera system that includes a primary 40MP (f/1.6) SuperSpectrum sensor, 20MP (f/2.2) Ultra-wide angle lens, an 8MP (f/3.4) 5X SuperZoom Lens, and finally a Time of Flight (ToF) camera for depth of field.

The use of innovative RYYB color filter helps with lowlight camera performance, and the periscope-like Zoom assembly can facilitate up to 50X hybrid zoom.

Other features include Huawei’s own in-house Kirin 980 chipset, coupled with dual-NPU support, 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The P30 Pro is 8.4mm thick, is IP68 water and dust resistant certified, and packs a 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging supported. The phone also includes wireless as well as reverse wireless charging.

The 6.47-inch Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display retains a notch instead of the trending punch hole. And there’s an in-display optical fingerprint sensor underneath. The display vibrates to produce sound.

The software on the P30 Pro is EMUI 9.0 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The P30 Lite, on the other hand, is a heavily cut down version that shares the P30 moniker.
