HTC U12 Plus Specifications, Features and Images leaked Online Ahead of May 23 Launch

A couple of days back we reported to you about HTC’s blockchain based phone. If you are wondering is it that the same phone? Let me clear out the air, no it’s not. Its HTC’s 2018 flagship device U12+ which will be officially revealed on May 23. But thanks to Evan Blass who got hold of official documents revealing HTC U12+ specs and features list. He also posted HTC U12+ images on his twitter handle.

HTC U12+ Features

The Taiwanese smartphone brand’s 2018 flagship comes with an updated version of HTC’s Edge Sense 2 and “new pressure-sensitive buttons”. HTC is continuing with its ‘liquid surface’ design philosophy that we saw also witnessed in last years HTC U11+.

The phone will come with a 6-inch WQHD+ resolution Super LCD display that has 18:9 aspect ratio and 537ppi pixel density. Like most flagships in 2018, there is an HDR 10 support is built-in and the display is compatible with both DCI-P3 and sRGB color gamuts. HTC is using Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as an additional layer to protect phones display from scratches.

The HTC U12 Plus enthralls on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile processor which is aided by 6GB of RAM and Adreno 630GPU. The U12 Plus optics include a dual camera setup on both sides. It includes a 12-megapixel sensor with a 16-megapixel sensor on the rear end of the phone and two 8-megapixel sensors on the front. The phone is IP68 water and dust resistance and runs on Android Oreo out of the box. HTC is also promising update to Android P. It comes pre-loaded with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant and they are always-on listening.
