If you have any 4K HDR Xiaomi TV or even the latest Xiaomi Mi QLED TV, your PS5 will not detect HDR by default and if you try to turn on the same from the settings, you will get a prompt that HDR is not supported on your TV.

Don’t worry, your TV doesn’t have ‘fake HDR’ and you need not rush out to buy a new one. Here is what you need to do.

How to enable HDR support for PS5 on Xiaomi TVs

Step 1: After you have connected to PS5, press the center button of your Mi TV remote and select the “Settings” options from the menu that pops up.

Step 2: Now select “Devices” and then select “HDMI 2.0” or “HDMI 2.1”

Step 3: Now enable HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 On the HDMI port that you have connected your PS5 with. Your screen will stutter for a couple of seconds and the HDR adjustment menu will automatically pop-up

That’s it. You can now enjoy supported games in HDR.
