Honor Vision Pro highlights
As aforementioned, Honor Vision Pro has a 55-inch 4K HDR IPS fascia that covers the NTSC 85% wide color gamut, 178-degree wide viewing angles with 400 nits peaks brightness. The display offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, TUV Rheinland certified blue light filter and 60Hz refresh rate. The Pro moniker denotes the high-end media experience thanks to a pop-up camera, 6 far-field microphones, and 6x10W speakers.
It ships with Huawei’s Harmony OS on top of the Honghu 818 quad-core chipset, paired with a Mali-G51 GPU and 2gigs of RAM. The software boasts super-low latency for a seamless transition between other smart devices in the mesh. It also comes with a 2.4GHz HiSilicon Hi1103 chipset, which is responsible for high-speed 5Hz dual-band and 160MHz bandwidth with download rates maxing up to 1.7Gbps.
There are microphones in the remote which lets you wirelessly control the device using voice commands. It has a USB-C socket and touch-sensitive controls.
The list of features doesn’t end there. Huawei has shoehorned high-end image processing technologies like Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation (MEMC), HDR, Super-Resolution (SR), Noise Reduction (NR), Dynamic Contrast Improvement (DCI), Auto Color Management (ACM) and Local Dimming (LD).
The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3x HDMI ports, 1x USB 3.0 port, and 1x Ethernet port. All these packed in a 6.9mm thin metal body.
The pricing and availability details still under wraps and we believe the company will be announcing the same soon.
