Honor Vision Pro Smart TV unveiled at Indian Mobile Congress 2019

The Huawei Sub-brand has introduced the Honor Vision Pro Smart TV at the Indian Mobile Congress 2019. It had its debut back in August at the Huawei Developer Conference in China. It sports a 55-inch 4K HDR display and runs on the brand’s own Harmony OS. Further, its equipped with a pop-up camera, 6 far-field microphones, and a 60W speaker system.

As aforementioned, Honor Vision Pro has a 55-inch 4K HDR IPS fascia that covers the NTSC 85% wide color gamut, 178-degree wide viewing angles with 400 nits peaks brightness. The display offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, TUV Rheinland certified blue light filter and 60Hz refresh rate. The Pro moniker denotes the high-end media experience thanks to a pop-up camera, 6 far-field microphones, and 6x10W speakers.

It ships with Huawei’s Harmony OS on top of the Honghu 818 quad-core chipset, paired with a Mali-G51 GPU and 2gigs of RAM. The software boasts super-low latency for a seamless transition between other smart devices in the mesh. It also comes with a 2.4GHz HiSilicon Hi1103 chipset, which is responsible for high-speed 5Hz dual-band and 160MHz bandwidth with download rates maxing up to 1.7Gbps.

There are microphones in the remote which lets you wirelessly control the device using voice commands. It has a USB-C socket and touch-sensitive controls.

The list of features doesn’t end there. Huawei has shoehorned high-end image processing technologies like Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation (MEMC), HDR, Super-Resolution (SR), Noise Reduction (NR), Dynamic Contrast Improvement (DCI), Auto Color Management (ACM) and Local Dimming (LD).

The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3x HDMI ports, 1x USB 3.0 port, and 1x Ethernet port. All these packed in a 6.9mm thin metal body.
