Huawei is certainly looking to dominate the market with its in-screen camera display phones. After the much hyped Honor Nova 4, which is touted to be the company’s first phone featuring punch hole camera design, Huawei is already ready with its second phone with a similar display design. This new phone will be the successor to Honor V10 and will be dubbed as Honor View 20. Both the phones are expected to be revealed by the end of December 2018. Reportedly, Huawei wanted to be the first company to launch this sort of design but Samsung spoiled the game for the company by launching its Galaxy A8s today in China.

The Honor View 20 will also have a small hole for housing the front camera on the top left corner like the Nova 4. The display size cut-out for the camera on the V20 is just 4.5mm which is significantly smaller than the one found on Galaxy A8s. The company claims to have used techniques such as 5-axis ring dispensing for getting the desired output.

Furthermore, this phone will also feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. This sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel binning to fuse the pixels in low light and produce better results. Honor V20 will be powered by Kirin 980 chipset and with the help of its on-chip Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and ISP, the image processing capabilities and camera performance of the phone is touted to get a significant boost.

The phone will also have a feature called “Link Turbo” which basically chooses the best available connectivity option among 4G and WiFi and seamlessly connects you to it. The handset will be made official on December 26th in China and the global launch is scheduled for January 22nd in Paris.
