Honor 8 Pro To Land In India In July First Half; Sports Dual Cameras, 6GB RAM

Huawei’s sub-brand company Honor is all set to brings its Honor 8 Pro smartphone to Indian shores come July. The phone was earlier brought out into the European market a couple of months before. The 8 Pro is also the same handset that was launched in the company’s homeground China as the Honor V9.

Speaking of the specifications of the phone, it features a metal unibody design and includes a dual camera setup at the back. The OS that has been put into the 8 Pro is the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, which comes laden with the company’s customary EMUI (version 5.1) on the top.

There’s a 5.7-inch quadHD display, while a 2.4GHz Hi-Silicon Kirin 960 processor acts as the powering source for the phone. Furthermore, there is a 6GB RAM that aids the chipset, while the inbuilt ROM limit is 64GB.

For optics, there’s a dual camera (RGB + monochrome) unit at the back, comprising of two 12MP sensors (f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording). The phone is able to shoot 3D images of the subject as well.

Up front, an 8MP selfie snapper greets you.

Completing the list of notable specifications of the phone is a 4,000mAH power unit to keep it running. You will also find a fingerprint scanner on the its back.

As far as the availability of the Honor 8 Pro is concerned, it is going to be an Amazon-exclusive device, with the E-commerce company also teasing that it may be made available on July 6.

The Honor 8 Pro is available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colored variants and considering its European price was around Rs. 39,500, it may very well come with similar price tag here also.
